EDIS Can Bus
(Electrical
Distribution Interface System – Multiplexed) was
designed to simplify your installation and controlling
of the equipment that is mounted on the vehicle. We
have incorporated all the advantages of multiplexing
in our system. This system controls all your body lighting,
engine controls (RPM Controls, Engine Kill, etc), transmission
controls (4th Gear Lock-up), VSS kill, hydraulic controls
and monitors the engine RPM, displays the engine parameters
(Engine Temp, Oil Pressure, Volts, etc.), system hour
meter, and over temp protection. This system is also
wireless ready for remote control of specified circuits.
There are two major components that
make up the control system, the In Cab Controller and
the Central Panel Controller.
Features
- Improved reliability; fewer wires and electrical
connections mean fewer opportunities for problems.
- 16 outputs that are rated up to 25 amps
- Uses Plug and Play technology to cut down on the
installation time.
- LED lights on the circuit boards to allow for easy
diagnostics
- Lighted weather proof (IP65) push button switches
- Programmable interlocks for safety concerns
- Software diagnostics available
- State of the art cosmetics
- Easy to operate
EDR1-J1939
|

|
This
product is able to control the engine
RPM, either a Set RPM(S)* or a variable
RPM (Increase/Decrease). The EDR I – J1939
can be switched on by either a 12 volts
or by ground activation. It is connected
to the engine ECM through the high speed
J-1939 data port connection which is usually
already wired. When connected to the engine
ECM and is powered up it will take 12v
inputs into it and control the engine
RPM depending on how the engine ECM was
programmed. This product also has two
relays on the board that can be used control
starting or stopping of the engine or
for other systems that need to be supply
power or ground. The first relay output
is a |
| 12v
N/O only and the second relay allows you
to configure the common for either a ground
or a positive which will send a output out
the N/C and the N/O output of the relay.
The outputs are rated for a max output of
7.5 amps.
The EDR I –J1939 is roughly
5” X 5” 1 1/2” with a 12 pin
connector. The following is the description
of the 12 Pin connector connections.
Pin#1 - Chassis Ground
Pin#2 - Relay # 1 Com
Pin#3 - Relay # 1 (N/O or N/C) Determine
by cutting a Jumper wire on Circuit Board
Pin#4 – Relay # 1 Coil (12v Active)
Pin#5 – Power (12 V Key Switch)
Pin#6 – Relay # 2 N/O (12V)
Pin#7 – CAN High (J1939 +)
Pin#8 – CAN Low (J1939 -)
Pin#9 – RPM On/Off Input (12v Active)
Pin#10 – Set Input (Increase) (12v Active)
Pin#11 – Resume Input (Decrease) (12v
Active)
Pin#12 – Relay # 2 Coil (12v Active) also
will active RPM A
* Some engines allow
more that one Set RPM configurations.
EDRII-J1939

| This
product is similar to the EDR I – J1939 but
it has more capabilities, plus it has a LCD
display. It will control the engine RPM, either
a Set RPM(S)* or a variable RPM (Increase/Decrease),
it can be used to start and stop the engine,
it can be use for remote foot or hand throttle
variable throttles, it has extra relays that
can be used for crane power, a cooler fan or
whatever you need to feed power or ground too. The EDR II – J1939 can be switched on by either a 12 volts
or by ground activation. It is connected to
the engine ECM through the high speed J-1939
data port connection which is usually already
wired. When connected to the engine ECM and
is powered up it will take 12v inputs into it
and control the engine RPM depending on how
the engine ECM was programmed. The EDR II –
J1939 |

has three outputs that are rated for a max output
of 7.5 amps and one paralleled output that is
rated for 15 amps. The LCD display measures about
2 ¾” X 1 3/8” and has a standard display of the
engine RPM, PTO Hours, Engine Temperature and
Inputs. What the display shows can be altered
as long what is requested is on the J-1939. The
EDR II –J1939 is roughly 5” X 5” 2 1/2”
with a 24 pin connector. The following is the
description of the connector pin connections.
Pin# 1 - Chassis Ground
Pin# 2 - Relay # 1 Com
Pin# 3 - Relay # 1 (N/O or N/C is determine
by cutting a jumper wire on Circuit Board)
Pin# 4 – Relay # 1 Coil (12v Active)
Pin# 5 – Power (12 V Key Switch)
Pin# 6 – Relay # 2 N/O (12V)
Pin#7 – CAN High (J1939 +)
Pin#8 – CAN Low (J1939 -)
Pin#9 – RPM On/Off Input (12v Active)
Pin#10 – Set Input (Increase) (12v Active)
Pin#11 – Resume Input (Decrease) (12v Active)
Pin#12 – Relay # 2 Coil (12v Active) also will
active RPM A
Pin#13 – TPS Ground Input
Pin#14 – Cab TPS Signal input (Rly #3 N/C)
Pin#15 – Cab TPS Voltage Input

Wireless Output Remote Control
System
|
 |
|
WORCS101 The Short Range system, P/N
WORC101. This system will allow you to control
up to 8 different Normally Open or Closed outputs.
The standard Transmitters that are used can control
the first four outputs using buttons 1-4 and the
last four outputs would be used with different
combinations of pressing two buttons simultaneously.
This system can send out either Positive or Negative
outputs, depending on how you wire up the receiver.
The receiver can also be programmed to send out
a Pulse or a Latched Pulse = as long as you hold
down the button on the Faub you will have an output
Latch = one push of the button will cause the
output to stop. This system can be used to control
the PTO Pump, Engine RPM, Open and Close Valves,
Starting and Stopping of the Engine, or anything
that you would normally use a toggle switch to
control. Please feel free to discuss your application
for this system with us. This system |
| has a range of about
300 feet, in good conditions. This system takes
a 12V 23A battery. Limited Manufacturers Life
Time Warranty on the Receiver and 90 days warranty
against defects on the transmitters.
| WORCS201
The long Range system, P/N WORCS201.
This system has a range of about 1000
feet. It has Two-Way communication ability;
this means that the transmitter will
beep when it sends the command and will
beep again when it has made contact
with the receiver and an icon will show
up on the screen. Up to four buttons
can be programmed on this system. Two
of the buttons can be programmed to
either a latched signal or a pulse signal,
one button is a pulse signal with a
1.5 second delay before engagement,
and the last button is a latched signal.
This system can be used to control the
PTO Pump, Engine RPM, Open and Close
Valves, Starting and Stopping of the
Engine, or anything that you would normally
use a toggle switch to control. Please
feel free to discuss your application
for this system with us. This system
takes an AAA battery. Limited Manufacturers
Life Time Warranty on the Receiver and
90 days warranty against defects on
the transmitters.
