system for almost 3 years. We use the EDR system
on virtually all of our truck-mounted crane assemblies
that require engine speed control functions.
It enables us to be more consistent in our wiring
procedures and being a sealed unit, it is protected

Dear Mr. Howard;
I wanted to take the opportunity to let you know
that I am extremely pleased with your services
and the ER II system. This system has made the
remote throttle control, remote starting and stopping
of the engine very simple and works well with
the installations of our Fassi Cranes, especially
with the radio remote systems that accompany the
cranes. The EDR II interfaces with the radio remote
system and the truck engine easily. This system
has allowed us to standardize all of our installations.
Before we started to use your services and the
EDR II, we would have to try ourselves to hook
up what we could. Then the customer would be responsible
for the rest of the installation. Now I simply
look to the EDR II system. This system has allowed
me to sell my customer a finish-tested product
ready for work.
During the time that we have been purchasing
the EDR II system we have found the product to
be highly reliable and your company good to work
with.

Dear Brent,
We have been using Electronic Engine and Transmission
Control Specialists’ EDRI for approximately
18 months. I would like to take this opportunity
to express that we are extremely pleased with what
EDR1 has done to make our throttle requirements
a routine installation.
Before we started using your services and EDR1,
we would release the truck with our body installed
to the customer and he would be responsible for
the remote throttle control. He the customer,
would rely on his personnel to tie into dash controls
or take the unit to his truck dealer to install
the throttle. In most cases this was not done
in a timely and satisfactory manner. Now we simply
look to the EDR1 system that allows us to sell
to our customer a finished and tested product
that is ready to go to work.
During the time that we have been purchasing
the EDR1 system we have found the product to be
highly reliable, and yourself a pleasure to do
business with.

FRF Hydraulic has been using Brent Howard’s
service for about 3-1/2 years now. We use the product
EDR-III, for “fixed” RPM and engine
start/stop, and recently the EDR-IV, which supplies
us with crane and cooler power as well as “fixed”
RPM and engine start/stop. They are both very convenient
systems! Brent provides the products and installs
them for us. The product is great and his customer
service is friendly and courteous! We would recommend
him to anyone!

We have been using the EDR I & II for more
than two years on our Stone Spreaders. They have
been very reliable and cost effective by reducing
the time required for ECM interfacing. The standardized
installation and programming instructions are
easy to follow. On the rare occasions where we
have been required to troubleshoot a problem,
Mr. Howard has been very accommodating and helpful
over the phone or in person and the solution has
been quite simple to find and correct. The EDR
systems are clean and neat and have saved us time
and money on our installs.

Dear Brent,
I have been installing EDRI system for about
the last 12 months. I wanted to take the opportunity
to let you know that I am extremely pleased with
what EDRI has done for our installations of our
remote throttle control.
We find the EDRI is easy to install, with easy
to follow instruction for the interfacing of the
system to the trucks computer and to our remote
switches
Before we started using the EDRI system, we would
send the truck and body out to the customer who
in turn would have to have a dealer try to set
the remote throttle. Now we simply install the
EDRI system and we are then able to fully test
the truck-mounted equipment and make any necessary
adjustments or corrections to the equipment. Thus
by using the EDRI we can deliver a fully tested
piece of equipment, work ready for the customer.
Mr. Howard has been a pleasure to work with,
always courteous and readily available for technical
support.
