Smog- Ease is a Reduced-idling Device designed to assist fleet managers and administrators everywhere to cut down on unnecessary idling and vehicle emissions. Smog-Ease helps people who are committed to doing their part in the reduction of pollution but have no time to keep an eye on their vehicles.

Smog-Ease is the ideal solution for all people who desire to do their part in the reduction of greenhouse effect gasses but do not have the resources to monitor the daily activities of their fleet vehicles.

Smog-Ease monitors the vehicle for a pre-determined period of time. It also senses any movement by the vehicle. If the vehicle has not moved in the pre-set period, the vehicle shuts off automatically. All that the operator has to do is start their vehicle once they are ready to move to another location. In specific applications where the vehicle needs to keep running, an override feature is available.

For the applications where it is desired the vehicle remains running - such as PTO’s, inverters, heavy DC loads such as beacons, light bars or any other situation - a special override feature has been built into the Smog-Ease unit. This feature can be enabled easily during installation of the module.
